Topic: The Kinect in Gaming and Art Kinect -Is a motion sensing input device by Microsoft for the Xbox 360 video game console and Windows PCs. Based around a webcam-style add-on peripheral for the Xbox 360 console, it enables users to control and interact with the Xbox 360 without the need to touch a game controller, through a natural user interface using gestures and spoken commands. 

Kinect in education-Teachers are using more kinect systems as part of the pilot program to help kids learn and retain the knowledge and skills they need in life. Tool like Kinect teachers are able to engaging students to learn with more effectively and more fun.

Avatar Kinect helps us connect/ Who designed Avatar Kinect -Avatar Kinect is an Xbox 360 chatroom-type service that will allow you and your friends to talk to each other using your Xbox 360 avatars. Basically, Kinect will be able to track your facial features and your avatar will mimic whatever you do. When you smile, your avatar smiles. When you frown, your avatar frowns. When you raise an eyebrow, Rock style, your avatar raises an eyebrow. When you jump and shake a leg, your avatar jumps and shakes a leg. It is all in the name of making the Xbox 360 avatars react and act more realistically and naturally.
